My time at Microsoft has been a constant stretch — across commercial work, brand campaigns, and most recently, building a motion system for a design system from the ground up. Every project pushes me into new territory, sharpening skills I didn't know I needed and deepening how I think about craft, collaboration, and systems. I thrive on the challenge, and I'm always looking for the next corner to grow around.
So take a journey with me — here's a look at some select work from my time here.

Brand + Design Systems Reel
Project Details
Overview
The MAI Brand and Design Systems team is a collective of designers and animators working across Microsoft's consumer AI surfaces — each bringing their own craft to a shared vision. This reel is just a snippet of the work we've produced, offered as a taste of what the team is capable of. Beyond producing and editing the reel itself, many of the projects featured are ones I personally took from concept to completion.

Copilot x Android Launcher
Project Details
Overview
5:50 PMA self-initiated concept pitch exploring what Copilot could look like as a truly native Samsung experience — designed from the ground up for the platform rather than adapted from a desktop baseline. Collaborating with one coworker, we explored how Samsung's form factor, gesture language, and hardware affordances like the S Pen could make Copilot feel less like an app you open and more like an intelligence woven into the device. The concept pushed on motion, input modalities, and ambient presence as the three pillars of what "native AI" should feel like on mobile. The goal was to shift the conversation internally — not ship a spec, but show a more ambitious vision for where the product could go.

Kumo: Chapter 2
Project Details
Overview
Building on the foundation laid by Kumo, this chapter documents how far the system has come. Through countless iterations of design and motion, teams across Microsoft began adopting the system — flighting components into real products, in the hands of real users. The results spoke for themselves: Kumo's components helped simplify and clean up the web by over 60%, cutting through the clutter that once defined our digital landscape. This film is a glimpse of that progress — not the finish line, but proof that the work is working.

Kumo: A New Foundation
Project Details
Overview
Kumo was an internal initiative to reimagine Microsoft's fragmented digital product landscape — building a bespoke design system on top of Fluent's foundation that stripped away complexity and brought a new level of simplicity and craft to the experience. The film opens in the chaos of today — the noise, the clutter, the weight of too many competing surfaces. Then silence. What follows is a glimpse of what Kumo makes possible: a unified, considered system that brings calm and coherence to the products people use every day. We took the system into real product contexts to show how it could live and breathe across Microsoft's ecosystem — and why horizontal teams should make it their foundation. Beyond the film itself, Kumo's visual language became the foundation for how the team communicated internally — shaping the aesthetic of our decks, moodboards, and presentations from the ground up.

Fluent Illustration Film
Project Details
Overview
In collaboration with the Fluent design team, we brought together a group of talented designers and animators to create a short film celebrating their latest visual direction. The goal was to capture the whimsy and playfulness at the heart of the new illustration style — and translate that energy into something that moved.

WXC Culture Reel
Project Details
Overview
The Web Experience Collective (WXC) is Microsoft's multidisciplinary design team behind some of the company's most widely used consumer surfaces — from Bing and Edge to MSN and Maps. As the team grew its global footprint and hit significant business milestones, they needed a film that could speak to the world on their behalf — not as a highlight reel of metrics, but as a genuine portrait of the people and culture behind the work. I designed and animated a culture reel that captures the energy, diversity, and craft of WXC — a piece built to attract the world-class talent the team needs to keep pushing forward.

Maximal Illustration Film
Project Details
Overview
Maximal is Microsoft's internal illustration library — a team producing imagery used across the entire digital product ecosystem. For their latest collection, they asked me to create a sizzle reel that did justice to the work: a visual experience that dissolves the boundary between the physical world and the digital, letting the illustrations feel less like assets and more like something alive.

Microsoft Image Creator
Project Details
Overview
In collaboration with the Image Creator team, we set out to capture the pure joy of creative expression — the idea that anyone could bring any vision to life, in any style, with just a few words. What made this project especially meaningful was that we built it before the explosion of AI-generated content, at a time when the concept of typing a thought and watching it become an image still felt like magic. The goal was to honor that feeling — making the experience feel as playful and boundless as the tool itself, translating that sense of imaginative freedom into something you could feel in motion.
